Thanks to everyone who let me know what was up with email notifications! Hotmail's supposedly working again, but I've had my fill with them I think (even if I had the same email address for eight years).

Okay, I'm sorry I've been so quiet. My HP muses have abandoned me, sadly. I am still reading fics though! I have obnoxiously loud original characters in my head now, but that's okay.... :)

Oh yes. I got my hair cut. I got a good four inches taken off so now it's just past my shoulders. It's a lot shorter than I've had it in years (since 2000!) but I actually like it. It's still that dark brown/bronze color I now love so much...so yay!

	Though they have abandoned you, during a PB hunt I found her and she struck me so hard as a young!Parker (and thus a young Pansy) that I still have to point her out to you, mainly for the freaky resemblance she has going on in some of those icons. (Reply to this) (Thread)

XD Okay, I'm done teasing now. ;) HP RP has gone into such a sad decline lately, I swear it's made a chunk of people turn absolutely batshit (more than used to be the case even!). No, it WAS from me! I think I've reached a point where DH killed far too much for me to continue playing my former plots, and where I should just retire Fred for good. *pets him*

I am SO GLAD that I am not the only one who feels that way! There's just nothing out there that is working for me at the moment, and I really don't want to mod again. So that's why I've stuck to my OCs (and very occasionally Chuck from Gossip Girl) lately.

BUT! If anything cool happens along, that needs a Pansy and has a decent Slytherin boy for her, I would consider it. :)

I think a lot of HPRPers do feel that way, unless they're the lucky ones to find a niche in some of these big, super active and well-run games like Blurred Lines (a MWPP) and such. I'd probably be taking it too far to blame it entirely on the batshit, as really, it's my lack of tolerance for any of the OOC crap that's the problem.

My big passion right now is multifandom (I've got characters from Labyrinth, Chronicles of Narnia, Scrubs, Heroes and soon Twilight all in one place), and I'm purposely not playing any HP characters there because I want it separate. I still have mine and Dani's private stuff, and one other small private HP game with characters transplanted from an OOCly-insane game, so I get the HP fix still, but I just don't have the patience for people's behaviour anymore and really, the last HP game I was in sort of killed a lot of my HP drive temporarily.

It's a cycle though, at least for me. I kind of need the multifandom to cleanse my brain or something, as that happened before with the multifandom game I had right after all the Moonlight wankery. WHICH, HEE, I think I said something like this back when you first starting talking about your OC RP, so way to repeat myself. ;)

I think you're right. There's too much OOC drama and too many dime a dozen games with the same recycled plots. It just doesn't appeal right now.

I love multifandom, and would not hesitate to bring Pansy or Chuck to an active game like that with a good premise. With me, I've gone through so many Georges that it's become a chore to try and find one who will write the plots I enjoy. So I'd rather just keep Pansy and start her fresh, or maybe pick up someone like Terry Boot or something if I go back to HP.

My OC RP is making me happy, it's just me and my writing partner, and we NPC their friends/family as needed. No one else to answer to, and even if we've had to nix a plot idea or two because the muses would not go along with it...we work it out. So the wank is at a minimum and I am happy like that.
