still here, still alive. I know I suck, since other than RP [which is mostly OCs now, btw] I never get around to posting stuff. but if you want to hear all about 'I went to work, I came home, I cooked dinner, I answered tags'...then you have my life in a nutshell lately. I'm trying to save money, so the shopping's at a standstill. which sucks. Court is doing awesome though! she will be 11 next month, which amazes the hell out of me. and I did get a brand new computer, yay! also, I'm brunette again and actually love it.

Help us put an end to Autism:



Now, this is a cause that I feel very strongly about. Many of you may already know that my daughter, who will be eleven in January, has Autism. This is something I don't talk about all that much, since to me, she's my little girl. But I live with this reality every day, so I think this is wonderful. Please take a look.

Nothing going on other than the same thing, different day.

I will say that I do miss playing Kirley in a HP setting, and I miss playing MY Pansy [anyone who knows her, knows what she's like]. And, yeah, I do miss Fred. Even if the egos I now have in this head are even louder than he ever was...! *glares at Daniel especially*

Are there any non-sucky games, or even a PSL where I trust the people in it, out there any more that would consider a Kirley at least?

I am officially OLD today. Yes, 38 is old, damn it!

I went ghost hunting in St.Augustine with Mom to celebrate last week, and we managed to get some on camera! As soon as I can get the pictures I'll post some.

Mom took me out for breakfast this morning and I bought a new Nine West handbag. My family's taking me out for dinner too, it'll be awesome!

Now that Court goes back to school tomorrow, I'll hopefully have more time here...fingers crossed!

So...what's going on, everyone?

I have a new character in my head. One from the Harry Potter verse, no less!

I am now living with a rather loud Kirley Duke McCormack (the lead guitarist of The Weird Sisters) in my head. :D

I've already sent in an app for him at one game. Are there any games out there that could use a Kirley, where he'll have at least something to do? If so, holler. This Kirley is on the side of the Order (and a Gryffindor alumnus) just so everyone knows. ;)

I am looking for icons of both Ellen Page and William Moseley, as I am picking up the future children of my OCs as teenagers in a parralel universe line (heaven help me). So any links/help would be appreciated! *loves*

Okay, I'm sorry I've been so quiet. My HP muses have abandoned me, sadly. I am still reading fics though! I have obnoxiously loud original characters in my head now, but that's okay.... :)


Oh yes. I got my hair cut. I got a good four inches taken off so now it's just past my shoulders. It's a lot shorter than I've had it in years (since 2000!) but I actually like it. It's still that dark brown/bronze color I now love so much...so yay!

Yesterday was my 12th wedding anniversary. Hubby took me to the Grand Lux Cafe for dinner, and it was delicious.

I am sorry I've been so quiet!! I miss you all.

I have retired Fred and Pansy, at least for now. It was a difficult decision, but they need a rest I think. Not sure what I'll do with my other HP ones yet, we shall see if I can wake them up. *sigh*

For the most part, life is okay. Just busy, and I wish I could sleep in tomorrow instead of going to work. Oh well!

Unrelated note: OMGYAY I just spotted some new Chace icons!! *snags several for Daniel because I can and it's fun* ;)

Today is World Autism Awareness Day. Since one in 150 children worldwide are diagnosed with Autism (the odds for boys is less than one in 100), I don't think enough is being done to find the cause, and possibly a cure.

My daughter is autistic, so I live with this every day. So please, spread the word. :)

Went to Magic Kingdom yesterday, which was fun. Got home at 2:30 this morning, which was not so fun. Had to work at 8:00, which definitely was not fun! I also have an interview for a second job at 2:00, so hopefully I can take a nap after that!!

You know you are addicted to RP when: (1) Even though the place you're staying at is nice, you have a bitchfest because they have no internet access, and (2) Your pups spend the day when you're at the park both whining about missing their loves, and what they would be doing if they were there (because, you know, they think they are real people). *facepalm*

Have to finish the edits on my Ides Of March fic tonight (which are pretty minor, thank goodness).

Also, am I the only person making faces that DH will be split into two films? Not that I'll be seeing the second part, because, well...we all know why. Why couldn't they do that to OotP instead of cutting 3/4 of the book? Because DH is the book I want them to cut a ton of stuff out of...*sigh* I'm really starting to become disillusioned with anything that's not completely AU. Bah.
